Bradford Rail Trail mural hints of more to come

Team Haverhill’s Art Walk at the Bradford Rail Trail project got some more great press in an article in the August 15, 2013 edition of the Haverhill Gazette.

The article, “Double dose of nature – Mural at rail trail hints at what visitors will see,” highlights the beautiful mural that was installed behind Arthur Sharp’s True Value hardware store as part of the Bradford Rail Trail. The mural was painted by Haverhill High School students guided by a professional mural artist, and several HHS art teachers. The mural is a colorful display of scenes of nature, sprinkled with plants and wildlife you might encounter along the trail.

Team Haverhill, in partnership with the Friends of the Bradford Rail Trail, is participating in the project by commissioning an Art Walk, featuring several large, permanent sculptures, and a handful of smaller sculptures that will likely rotate. Learn more!
