A plant stand for Haverhill residents to share extra plants and promote gardening
The name says it all. This is a plant stand for residents to share plants – it’s that simple! The stand allows you to take a free plant even if you don’t have any to share now. Help us keep it stocked with plants!
The stand is located at the entrance of the Haverhill Public Library, 99 Main Street, Haverhill.
Take a Plant – Leave a Plant is a collaborative effort. The idea was originally hatched at Possible Dreams 2021 and quickly became a reality. The stand was built and installed by Team Haverhill, it is maintained and stocked with the help of the Haverhill Garden Club and is in a great, easily accessible location thanks to the Haverhill Public Library.
The original plant stand, designed to look like a book, was painted by the students of Ms. Sadie Griesmer Nettle School class!
