We need your help at Team Haverhill’s River Ruckus 2023!

It takes a lot of help to make Team Haverhill’s River Ruckus a success! If you can pitch in some time on the day of the festival – we would be very grateful! Below is a description of some of the many tasks and roles that we need volunteer assistance with this year. After reviewing, please click here to sign-up as a volunteer for River Ruckus 2023!
Festival Set-Up – Help clean-up the site, set-up chairs, tables, beer garden, signage and more.
Trash & Recycle Bins Set-Up – Fold, assemble and set-up large, cardboard trash boxes, attach a Team Haverhill promo flyer, line with bags, and place cans in designated areas.
Community Corner Support Staff – Help with area set-up/clean-up, answer participating exhibitor questions, provide info to attendees and and be help ensure the Community Corner runs smoothly.
Kids Zone Support Staff – Help with area set-up/clean-up, answer participating exhibitor questions, provide info to attendees and and be help ensure the Kids Zone runs smoothly.
Distribute Schedules – Help get the word out about everything happening at the festival by handing out our “Schedule of Events” to attendees
Art/History Walking Tour Chaperone – Help direct attendees to walking tour start point, ensuring groups make it from one point to the next without separating while the guide focuses on “the tour talk” itself.
Trash Can & Port-a-Potty Patrol – Check designated trash boxes, remove bags and put in designated areas, set-up new bag, report issues. Spot check Port-a-Potties for toilet paper stock and usability, report issues.
Access/Security – Make sure only authorized badge holders access VIP and Backstage area.
Festival Breakdown – Help out with the breakdown and clean-up at the end of the festival.
