About the Event
Team Haverhill and EforAll Merrimack Valley are pleased to present: Fun Forward, an exciting live pitch contest inviting entrepreneurs, creatives, and visionaries to share their boldest ideas for a family-focused entertainment space — right here in Haverhill!
From indoor playgrounds and mini-golf courses to arcade lounges, kids’ art studios, edutainment centers, and interactive game zones — if your idea brings fun to families, we want to hear it.
Think Shark Tank… without the teeth!
Grand Prize Rules & Restrictions
$25,000 – 1st Place – Grand Prize
$12,500 – 2nd Place
$5,000 – 3rd Place
Prizes will be awarded to the winning entrepreneurs and/or business teams upon meeting the following conditions:
The winning business must be legally registered in the City of Haverhill, MA, OR will be legally registered in Haverhill within 60 business days.
The prize funds will be disbursed only after the winner presents a clear and actionable business plan, including:
A timeline for launch and operational milestones
A budget breakdown for how funds will be used
Prize funds of $25,000.00 may be distributed in phases or installments, based on project readiness and launch milestones.
If the business is not launched in Haverhill within a specified time frame (to be defined in the winner agreement), the award may be revoked or reallocated.
Who Can Apply?
This contest is open to all, but there’s one key requirement:
The proposed business must be based in Haverhill, MA.
We’re looking for imaginative, community-driven ideas that bring joy, connection, and excitement to local families. This pitch contest aims to promote, increase and expand family and youth entertainment business in Haverhill (not childcare or related family services).
