Team Haverhill, in partnership with Pentucket Bank, is pleased to announce the official dedication of the Art Walk at the Bradford Rail Trail, which will be held Sunday, September 10, 2017 at noon sharp.
The event will take place at the new Art Walk at the Bradford Rail Trail sign, located behind the Arthur Sharp Hardware store on the Trail. The five sculptors, Dave Borrus, Dale Rogers, Susan Kneeland, Susan Blim, and Jack Welch, will be recognized for their fantastic contributions. Tim Jordan, Art Walk co-chair, along with Rebecca York and Jeff Grassie, will serve as Masters of Ceremonies. Also to be recognized is Pentucket Bank, which provided a $25,000 donation that helped make the Art Walk possible. The bank will be represented by Bank President Scott Cote.
After the dedication the public can join the artists to walk the Trail, stopping at each of the five sculptures. Each artist will talk about his or her piece, explaining the inspiration, materials used, and other information about their sculpture.
Following the walking tour, the owners of the Roma Restaurant will host an artist’s reception with light appetizers. A cash bar will available and attendees can also order additional food.
