Today from 4:30-6:30 is the cookout and block party celebrating Portland Street Playground, which is almost finished. Sponsored by Team Haverhill and Haverhill Community Violence Prevention Coalition (HCVC). Neighborhood is invited, along with city leaders, volunteer groups and individual citizens who have supported the playground renovation in any way. Official remarks at 5:15 pm.
