Join fellow enthusiasts for a series of community group paddles exploring the waters of Haverhill and beyond.
Let’s Paddle Haverhill! is a series of free group paddles on the incredible waters of the greater Haverhill area. Whether you’re an experienced paddler or someone new to kayaking/paddling, these excursions are a great way to connect with nature and your community. Let’s Paddle Haverhill!
These outings include a local community member (or regional guest) with knowledge of each body of water and/or the surrounding land where we paddle. As we paddle, we learn the local history, geology, animal habitat or other aspects related to the paddle.
Make friends! Explore! Learn about Haverhill! Practice technique! Get outside!
You’ll need a kayak or canoe, a paddle, and must always bring and wear a PFD (personal floatation device/life jacket) while paddling.

Let’s Paddle Haverhill! – The Origin Story
After seeing the success of Let’s Hike Haverhill!, local residents, avid kayakers (and long time Team Haverhill members) Karl Brunelle and John Cuneo, were inspired to create a similar program, but dedicated to paddling Haverhill’s waters rather than hiking. After presenting the idea at Possible Dreams 2025 and assembling a crew of like-minded volunteers, Let’s Paddle Haverhill! was born.
